When I was researching family history, and Burn airfield, which I crossed on my Trans Pennine walk, the two came together,
which resulted in me
contacting Hugh Cawdron, the author of the book "Based at Burn Mk II" in order to obtain a copy. He saw my website and asked if I would paint
his late pet.
This is the result. As I have often written previously, when I do a scan, the colours are never quite correct, and some compromises
have to be made with brightness/contrast/and colour balance.
I think this is because the white paper shines through the colour washes.
