The hall was built circa 1906, and since closing has been a roller skating rink, Vernons, Terrys, an Indian Restaurant, and is currently the Istanbul Grill. The frontage has changed
a lot over the years, and the terraced cottage has disappeared. Today a flat roofed concrete building stands in the gap housing the "Italian Job" amongst other business's.
